This is moving. Seeing young black males with amazing taste, being humble and conscious of their roots. I'm even more happy to see that you can break the prejudices and clichés about africa. My father is from Ivory Coast and my mother is west Indian so I felt deeply "involved". You guys are genuine and passionate it's definitely Not about following an ethnic trend. this is more than easthetic, this is an identity and philosophical quest. Much Love.

Hi,

Sorry if my English is bad, I’m not English, I’m from Paris.

It’s been while I’ve been visiting your blog, it’s one of my big inspirations everyday. I watch each picture carefully, as a piece of art.
Your blog is the kind of thing that I really think that democratizes creation and in this case the photography. This is the first time I dared to post a comment. during the last year I contemplated photo alter photo creating with a little Group with young friends a Project called Lysarte (www.lysarte.com) , directly inspired of your work.

Lysarte.com is an online platform of photography crowdfunded contests.
We encourage people to create with a social and economic incentive. Each participant when he uploads a Photo pays 1 euro, that adds automatically to the final prize. More Works means more Money. We want to see how people get inspired and then became an inspiration, passing the border between ambition and initiative creating the good ideas they have. We really believe that everybody is able to fulfill something great. We want to see how people strive to win, how they create and we are beginning with photography, inspired by your pictures. So, the first contest is “The Portrait”, in honor of you.

We think that you can really understand our ideals in relation to the creation and photography, making it available to all. Then, I am proud to invite you to know more about our project, and why not, to participate in one of our contest. (it would be frankly Amazing)

Thanks for Reading,

I've been introduced by the Angolan culture in 2005 because of my first love. He was born in Luanda and came to The Netherlands in 2002, yet I have never been there myself, that teaser video brings me back to the feeling my ex-family in law gave me. Amazing that you guys have been there and I'm curious about what you have done there. Hope ur good Joshua, long time, good to see ur still going strong, but of course you are star ;)
