Wow this is awesome. I saw a pair of white canvas shoes at some thrift store the other day. I might go back and pick them up just to test this out!

Feeling the DIY job. I always customise my clothes but have never messed around with my trainers. When you dye shoes what kind of dye do you use and what materials are best to attempt to dye. I have a pair of toms espadrilles which could do with a paint job. I think they are canvas so I assume that they would be the best to try them on. Sorry about the 101 questions but did the/ will the colour run if it rains for example. Thanks

WICKED colour! I love that you just took something you already had and turned it into a great fresh new element in your wardrobe … I’m gunna be trying to dye some stuff now… wonder what great colours I’d be able to find…
