Trav: Rugby just released their Spring 2009 with the heading, Carpe Diem. Carpe Diem is a phrase from a Latin poem by Horace, it translates to “seize the day”. I am in love with the promotional videos that the RL team releases for every Rugby Collection. Some real creativity here. As far as the collection goes, i cant really say that I’m completely in love with the menswear, its not bad, but after the Holdiay Collection i was expecting to be knocked outta my seat. It looks like they decided to play it safe with their very basic, classic, ivy prep feel. The womanswear on the other hand is straight dope. Nothing really much else to say about that. I like the woman’s collection, it almost seemed not fully ralph lauren. The fluidity of the skirts and alot more menswear ith feminime pieces, looks nice. Men’s was typical.
