BHM Spotlight : Miles Davis

JKISSI : This month February obviously is black history month and we at Street Etiquette will occasionally put a spotlight on African American people who should be appreciated. Miles Davis, probably one of the greatest Jazz Musicians, to some he is labeled the “Picasso of Jazz”. Miles Davis has a dapper style, which I admire alot, accompanied by bluesy rhythms and the dedication  to reinvent himself through his musical career. I vowed  this summer I will try to pick up a trumpet or saxophone just because Ive always wanted to expand on my musical catalogue.  Even though my parents were from Africa they still knew to have some soothing sounds of Miles Davis around when I was young something like a musical bible to me.  Listen to some of the mans stuff below also. Inspiration.
