JKISSI :  As you guessed I’m really impressed with 3sixteen’s new spring video. Streetwear for some time has just been disappointing me over and over again, but brands like 3sixteen who doesn’t follow the cycle most brands do make me happy. From hypebeast forums in 2006 Ive seen the growth happen before my eyes they have grown into something to be recokoned with in their scene. Their pieces look great something I could definitely wear on a daily basis. The video also features a familar friend from Lookbook.nu DeVon Drakkar Lane Simmons and directed by Kellen Dengler. The video has  classical music playing in the background while showing you some detailed shots of the pieces.   I’m really axious to view the photoshoot images which will drop in about 2 weeks.  Good work to Anrew Chen and the family at 3sixteen keep the wheel turning.

I know you didnt want to say it but they’re fast ahead ofthe competition like 10 deep , Hundred. The only brand I like accompanied by mishka. good work joshua.

Yeah, they completely changed their look and I like it but I realize that I need to work in some more casual stuff to chill in…

What Andrew has done at 3Sixteen is pretty incredible. If you look just about a year and change back, their t shirts were being worn by T-Pain in music videos and they were putting out things like bright blue houndstooth shorts and were fitting in pretty consistently as far as street wear in concerned. Not that there is anything wrong any of that but it really puts it into perspective as to how much growth 3Sixteen has undergone. From talking to Andrew and seeing the upcoming seasons I mean the product they are putting out has really taken them to another level that no other streetwear brand has “graduated” into as of yet.

Mishka has definitely presented a very unique collection of clothing that has also raised them above their counterparts but I would still assert that similar to The Hundreds they are are still really doing it in a streetwear more basic garment minded way while 3Sixteen has really pushed the boundaries to where they could now really be defined as mens contemporary or whatever category you’d like to put them under.

Rant over. As soon as I saw this video I said I know John will be a fan. Haha.
