Trav: A few days ago on a very rare occasion, i was actually early for work. I decided to take some quick snaps to past the time.I headed down to the pier and quickly took some snaps. I got a change to really use my 50mm, this thing is amazing. I was walking down by the Pier around Chambers and found this park with these animal sculptures. They had a whole. I can picture some creative mind doing a video of these things coming alive at night.

Hey dayinthelyf I use a Canon Rebel XTI with kit lens 18-55 MM
Travis uses Nikon D40 with 50 mm and 18-55 nikkor and he has a external flash sb

I hear the Canon Rebel XS is very good man when you get your cam dont get frustrated at your performance or nothing important thing is to keep shooting. I think thats where I drifted off because I saw pictures on flickr and different photography forums and was like “Why aren’t my pictures coming out that good?” What I did is just go out there starting shooting, getting opinions from professional photographers, and just reading stuff online and I got better gradually. Hope this helps though man keep shooting.

Yeah man thanks for the advice! I got the camera and I was instantly satisfied with the quality of the pics. It’s a great camera, i’m glad i bought it. When I take the class I will def. get better.
