JKISSI :  It looks like the full lineup for the collaboration with Uniqlo has finally hit the web. The Uniqlo Designer Invitation Project includes brands like Steve Alan, Opening Ceremony, Shipley & Halmos who were nominated for new designer of the year and Gilded Age.  Surprisingly, the first two collections will drop on March 9th and around the same time, well a little bit earlier,  just down the street Topshop/Topman will be debuting  on March 26th. There will be competition no doubt because Uniqlo has been pretty much running things with their 32% sales increase this fall & winter.  The second part of the project will release on April 13th so keep your eyes out for people who live around a Uniqlo store. For the time being though he is a sneak peak of two of the collections.

A Search Through The Archives: Life’s Wars

January 30th, 2009 Posted in General Style 2 Comments

Trav: I have recently become very fascinated with the old photos of Life magazine. For those who do not know, Life magazine  revolutionazied the concept of photojournalism since the early 1900s. They practically have pictures of every thing that happened in the past. Seeing where the world is now, i think its apprioate to look back at the past and see how nothing really never ends. Some simple shots of past wars below. Starting with The Civil War WWI, WWII and ending with vietnam.

The Brooklyn Circus keeps rolling

January 30th, 2009 Posted in General Style 2 Comments

JKISSI : From previous post some of you guys might know about The Brooklyn Circus. For those who dont  let me remind you, they’re a boutique in Brooklyn  who have been in the game since 2005. Everyone in BK knows about the circus it’s pretty much a staple. The boutique has pretty much expanded cross country into different cities such as Chicago and San Francisco.  I remember when they use to have their classic BKC tees, the growth  I have witnessed has been pretty amazing . Every time I visit their blog it looks like these guys never rest, that’s something I really admire about them, work ethic is definitely important.  Me and Trav will be featured in their Changing of the Guards book they’re releasing soon I cant wait until it hits the masses. They have their upcoming seasons about to come out if you would like to monitor their movement check out their blog.

First time hearing about them ? , if so what do you think

Wow, I need this denim jacket in my life this looks crazy.
