Music Video of the Week
Published by admin August 21st, 2008 in MusicJKISSI : Here is in my opinion one of the best songs/videos Fugees ever came out with. I’m not a die hard fan of the Fugees like Travis, but I recognize real music when I hear it. They were like the quintessential hip-hop group bringing real music to the table. I remember when this song dropped people use to bump it all day and now we wish the Fugees could come back together, because hip-hop is basically in a state of emergency. It will get better hopefully.
Shout out to all my Hatians

Lauryn Hill has always been an ingenious artist and songwriter. The Fugees were an extremely dynamic group. I was absolutely heartbroken when they disbanded. But some good did come out of the break up: Lauryn Hill’s wrote perhaps the best soul album ever. She is one of the only artists I know that had a first solo album with so many hits. To think of an album like that now is almost impossible.
