Subway Art

Trav: This book Subway Art by Martha Cooper and Henry Calfrant is one of my fav books and an inspirational masterpiece for any graffiti lover or artist. Martha Cooper is a photographer who has been documenting the hip hop and graffiti scene for years.. The book, written in 1984 is some of her early work..before i was even born. Its crazy to see the work of graffiti artist of the 70s and 80s.. some real talent in the hood..too bad the MTA got rid of these trains…i would kill to ride in one of these..lol.. below is a link to the online version of the book..enjoy
