So we were walking on Broadway, making our way to Canal street when we see this big sign, looked up and ohhh… a Topman store is finally coming to New York City . Topman is a chain of clothing stores originally from the UK so a lot of people here in the United States are pretty unaware of it, but those who search for items on the internet definitely know. The history of topman/topshop hasnt been the greatest they were one time known as unfashionable , but since their reinvention their stock has risen and now spreading its stores to the U.S making a deal with Barneys New York Stores for 19 stores carry their stuff. But they are coming to SoHo right where Yellow Rat Bastard use to be located. This is basically like England’s H&M but in my opinion they have more solid designs and not as cheap in quality. I will still love Uniqlo of course, just somewhere to get designer looking clothes for a great price. I hope Topman will be the same because you already know i cant afford the real stuff LOL. To be honest I constantly hear bad reviews about Topman/Topshop from people who shopped there before such as items are “cheaply constructed” and “overpriced” but I’ll see when they make their way here, cant be as bad as what we have here.

I’m friends with a guy who designs for Topman his name is Mark Gumm he also runs his on clothing label called A.IN.T. (art in transition), I know how they operate. Topman is basically urban outfitters with a higher appeal.

ok.. so what your saying is your friends designs suck? because come on man some of the items have to be decent!!! for them to still be in business man.. u cant call the whole store trash thats just not logical man.. when they come to the U.s i will drive to NYC just to buy this shit and see if its really that bad bro .. because if your friend had any sense he wouldnt be designing for an lack luster brand which you say designs and clothes are bad… i think urrban outifitters is really a bad clothing company but topman hasss to be better for christ sakes its comming from europe .. it can’t fail.. maybe even they would improve on their shit since theyre comming here now

Sorry, did I say my friends designs suck. No. What I have merely pointed out is that the quality of some pieces suck. If they can topman/topshop will try to cut costs by using poor quality materials. Just because it’s from Europe does not make it good, you never heard of Primark or BHS?
